ACEC COLORADO PROJECT REGISTRATION - 2027 Engineering Excellence Awards

  • Project registrations accepted through Aug. 7
  • Project materials must be submitted through portal no later than Aug. 14

The ACEC Colorado Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) program was initiated in 1967 and annually recognizes consulting engineering firms for projects that demonstrate an exceptional degree of innovation, complexity, achievement and value. For 60 years, Colorado firms have entered their most innovative projects and studies into this competition.

Firms gain added value simply by entering the ACEC Colorado EEA competition:

  • Custom Award for Display | A professionally designed, personalized award that showcases your achievement and reinforces your firm’s credibility with clients, partners, and employees.
  • Targeted Social Media Promotion | A coordinated campaign highlighting your win across EEA channels—amplifying visibility, engagement, and reach among key industry audiences.
  • Local & Industry Media Coverage | Recognition through notable local press placements, increasing your firm’s exposure and reinforcing your position as a leader in the region.
  • Feature in Colorado Public Works Journal | Dedicated EEA coverage in the Winter Edition, positioning your project and team in front of a highly relevant, professional readership.
  • Professional Video Spotlight | A high-quality video feature shared on the ACEC Colorado’s YouTube channel—bringing your project story to life and creating a lasting, shareable marketing asset.
  • Recruitment & Retention Advantage | Recognition that helps attract top talent and strengthens employee pride, engagement, and long-term retention.

While the ACEC Colorado EEA program generally aligns with ACEC National guidelines, important differences apply. Please review the ACEC Colorado Official Rules carefully.
