Join your ACEC Colorado-member firm colleagues who do business in Northern Colorado for this complimentary, in-person membership meeting, featuring a presentation on “Looking for Opportunities with the Infrastructure Investment Jobs Act (IIJA) & Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Grants” by Regional Grant Navigator Alison Pegg of Upstate Colorado Economic Development. Following the presentation, ACEC Colorado North Area Director Pat Hillyer, PE (Lamp Rynearson), and Executive Director Heidi Gordon, CAE, will highlight recent news from the Council, as well.

About the Presentation
You’ve heard about IIJA, but do you know how many opportunities are out there for your various clients? The winning grant money is just starting to roll into Colorado, and there is more to come. Get to know how this federal program and the lesser-known IRA can provide opportunities for you as a consultant and your clients to secure more federal funds to Colorado. Discover some basics about grant terminology, how to use these grants to find funding for all types of infrastructure projects, and how to help your various clients whether it be local agencies, transit agencies, private sector firms, quasi-governmental agencies--such as water districts and community-based, nonprofit organizations-- in applying for these funds. Once the grants are awarded, look for the various opportunities to win work from these grants.

This presentation will provide a glimpse into how you, as a consultant, can help secure more infrastructure funding for Colorado and assist in delivering those projects by ensuring clients abide by the federal regulations. Out of the 120+ grants available, there are still funds remaining from the $1.2 trillion IIJA and $432 million. Learn how you can support Colorado in receiving these grants and winning more work for your firm.

Registration is complimentary but required and can be completed online or by calling ACEC Colorado at 303.832.2200.
